Data protection and data security are a high priority for us. Therefore, the protection of your personal data on the website is of particular concern to us.

Technical data

When you visit these Internet pages, our web server temporarily records the domain name and/or IP address of the requesting computer, the client's file request (file name and URL), the http response code and the Internet page from which you are visiting us. Our system evaluates this data in cumulative and anonymised form for statistical purposes. It is therefore not possible to identify individual visitors.

Personal data

Additional personal data such as your name or e-mail address is not collected unless you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of the registration process (registration on Mazdaznan.eu), newsletter subscription, use of the forum or the contact form. Data collected in the course of such registration will be used in connection with the respective service, i.e. for its provision as agreed.

Your personal data will not be sold, lent or made accessible to third parties unless this is required by law or you have expressly consented to this. You can delete your account or a newsletter subscription at any time without giving reasons.

Use of cookies

We may use cookies (small files with configuration information).
Cookies help to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our website and enable us to constantly improve the service and usability of our pages. We do not collect any personal data via cookies.

Links to other websites

This website contains links to other websites. Please note that we are not responsible for the data protection of other websites. When you leave our website, we advise you to read the data protection provisions of each linked website on which you are asked to provide confidential information.

Newsletter system

We use a newsletter mailing system (Acymailing) that runs on our server. This system logs data on receipt, reading status and statistics on the newsletters sent.

Double opt-in and logging

Registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that you will receive an email after registering asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary to ensure that no-one can register using other people's e-mail addresses.

Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes storing the time of registration and confirmation as well as the IP address.

Statistical survey and analyses

The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from our server when the newsletter is opened. As part of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval, is initially collected. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data.

The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. Although this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients for technical reasons, we do not endeavour to observe individual users.

Cancellation/revocation

You can cancel the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke your consent. Your consent to statistical analyses will expire at the same time. You will find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter.

Legal basis of the General Data Protection Regulation

In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applicable from 25 May 2018, we inform you that the consent to the sending of e-mail addresses is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, 7 GDPR and § 7 para. 2 no. 3 and para. 3 UWG. The use of the newsletter system, the performance of statistical surveys and analyses and the logging of the registration process are based on our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We are interested in using a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves both our interests and the expectations of users.

We would also like to point out that you can object to the future processing of your personal data at any time in accordance with the legal requirements pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. In particular, you may object to processing for direct marketing purposes.
